Reevu is highly committed to the privacy of its website
users and abides with both the Data Protection Act (1999)
and The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC) Regulations
2003.
This privacy notice explains our online information
practices and the various measures taken to protect your

General Contact Reevu Form / Motorsports Information Request
Form
Both these forms request the following information:
Name: This is required so that any necessary response
can be addressed personally.
E-mail Address: This information is required such
that we can respond to any queries if necessary.
Comments: This information is required such that we
can understand the nature of your query.
The information collected via these forms is used in the
following manner:
The name and e-mail address is used should your query
require a direct response.
The information gained from the comments field, in
addition to forming the basis for any response, is collected
and used for feedback and improvement purposes e.g.
updating FAQ’s etc.
It should be emphasised that personal data is not stored
or used for any future marketing activities unless you
have explicitly given us permission to do so i.e. by checking
the opt-in box at the bottom of the forms.
2.1 Distributor Information Request Form
This form collects the following information:
Name, e-mail address: This is required so that any
necessary response can be addressed personally.
Company: Required so we can understand who potential
distributors are.
Address, Town/City, Region State, Country; Postcode,
Background to Company, Interested territories: This
information is required so that we can send any necessary
information packs and also understand what potential
distribution area you represent.
The following information can also be provided on an
optional basis:

Mobile Numbers:
This information may be provided should you prefer contact
via these mediums.
Aside from responding to queries, the personal data
collected is not stored and used for any future marketing
activities unless you have provided explicit permission
via the opt-in check box.
2.2 Leisure Warranty Registration Form
This form collects the following information:
Name, address, e-mail address,telephone number: These
are required so that any necessary response can be addressed
personally and to allow us to register the ownsership
of your Reevu product.
Where product purchased, date of purchase, presence
of a holographic sticker on the product, and the date
of purchase: These are required to register the warranty
with Reevu.
Other than responding to queries the personal data collected
is not stored and used for any marketing purpose, either
now or in the future unless you have provided explicit permission
via the opt_in check box.
3.0 USE OF INFORMATION
In addition to the information/uses described in section
2.0, various statistics and information relating to the
site are collected on a regular basis and these may occasionally
be communicated to selected business partners e.g. Average
length of website visit. In such a scenario, the information
is always presented in aggregate format i.e. no personal
customer information is presented which would allow individual
customer identification.
In short, Reevu will never provide
your personal information to any outside parties, or use
your personal information in ways unrelated to those described,
without your prior confirmed consent.
Finally, we do not collect any personal data that is
deemed ‘sensitive’ e.g. medical condition;
racial or ethnic origin etc.
4.0 INFORMATION SHARING
We will never share, sell or rent personal information
to any third parties without your permission or unless
ordered by any law authorities i.e. court of law; national
security etc.
We do, from time to time, share aggregate information
with selected business partners. This data does not contain
personally identifiable information and instead serves
to provide general information e.g. effectiveness of various
elements of the site.

From time to time, Reevu may send e-mail communications
covering areas that we feel may be of interest e.g. new
helmet model etc.
These communication follow an ‘opt-in’ whereby
they won’t be sent to you unless you grant us explicit
permission to do so.

check box within the contact forms. You can also unsubscribe
at any time by following the instructions within the e-mail.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s
computer tied to information about the user. More information

The Reevu website does not use cookies.
7.0 SURVEYS AND CONTENTS
From time to time, the Reevu website may run surveys or
contests that invariably request certain pieces of information.
Participation in these is completely voluntary and the
individual therefore has a choice of whether they wish
to disclose the information. Requested information typically
includes contact details.
Contact information will be used solely to notify the
winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used
for the purposes of monitoring and improving the usage
and satisfaction of this site and other Reevu offerings.
Users' personally identifiable information is not shared
with outside parties unless we give prior notice and gain
permission from you.

In line with current legislation, we never knowingly collect
or maintain information from those individuals that we
actually know are under the age of 13.
